The Return Of Nehemiah

Hananiah: Later, Nehemiah returned with some other Israelites. He was higher in rank than Ezra, in Babylon.

Hananiah: When he returned, he discovered that the Israelites of Jerusalem needed force. They were like a donkey, which would run, run and run; but stop on the way, until it is given a severe beating, then it would run fast.

When it starts running fast, the people on it will say, “This donkey has done very well.” The donkey will be running, running and running (gidigidi gidigidi). And it may stop and stand still again, somewhere along the road. Even so were the people of Jerusalem
